DEIStancing Programs for Fall 2020

Deistancing Virtual Programming on blue background

While students get adjusted to being back on campus and quarantining to help make our campus safer, Brandeis is offering many virtual events to students. With events offered each day through August 24, you're sure to find something of interest.

If you are interested in more independent engagement, Brandeisians have developed 19 things to do while in quarantine.

Quarantine Shabbat Kits

Hillel will be providing free Quarantine Shabbat Kits for students arriving on campus early who need to quarantine for August 14-15.  Students on campus can sign up for one box per person. Students off-campus (in Waltham) can sign up for one box per residence. To receive a box on time, please sign up by Sunday, August 9 @ 6 pm ET.

Each kit includes 2 mini challahs, 1/2 lb of rugelach, marble cake, tealights and grape juice. Food provided by Blacker's (certified kosher by "Crown K"). Pareve, pas yisrael, dairy-free and nut-free.

Coloring Packs

The Dean of Students Office has made coloring packs that include either markers or colored pencils with some coloring sheets.  If you are interested in having a coloring pack, please email deanofstudentsoffice@brandeis.edu to arrange for delivery.

Wellness Guides

Wellness during COVID is an important aspect of your health.  Please make sure that you are checking out the COVID 19 Resources available on the Health and Wellness website.  The 14 day guides for on campus and off campus students in quarantine might be a good resource as you transition to Waltham or to campus.
