Buy tickets for off-campus trips, the comedy show, and Hillel's Shabbat Dinner online, by phone at (781) 736-3400, and in person at Shapiro Campus Center.

Helpful hint for online ticketing: to receive your family member or student discount, add the number of tickets you'd like to your cart and then, once in the cart, select the appropriate discount from the dropdown list immediately to the left of each ticket price.

Prospect Hill Book Drive

The Prospect Hill Community Foundation is seeking book donations for their after-school enrichment community center. We are looking for new or lightly used books for children aged 7–12.  For a sample list of book titles that we are looking for check out Boston Public Schools summer reading list. There will be a collection box in the Shapiro Campus Center October 26-30 throughout Family Weekend and registration.

Off Campus Trip: Explore Boston
10 a.m.–5 p.m., Leaving from campus at 10 a.m.; boarding begins at 9:45 a.m.
We'll provide transportation to Faneuil Hall Marketplace, located in the heart of downtown Boston, so you can explore the nation's premier urban marketplace, which combines the glories of the past and vitality of the present. Across the street from Boston's waterfront, the Marketplace is comprised of three restored 19th century buildings. A blend of Neoclassic and Greek Revival architecture, the complex is a beautiful representation of old Boston, tastefully enhanced by urban contemporary additions. Ethnic foods, unique gifts and street performers are just a few elements that make the cobblestone streets of Faneuil Hall Marketplace such a festive and special restaurants and pubs feature varied menus, and are open for lunch and dinner. Solar Winds Quintet
8 p.m., Slosberg Music Center
Local favorite Solar Winds returns to the Slosberg stage for an evening of wind ensemble works, featuring Brandeis flute instructor Jill Dreeben. Tickets are available at the door only: $20; $10 for Brandeis community and seniors (55+); free for students.

Annual Family Weekend Variety Show
8 p.m., Levin Ballroom, Usdan Student Center
Join us as Brandeis students showcase their talents at our Annual Family Weekemd Variety Show! See amazing acts from student groups, such as Kaos Kids, Adagio, No Singer Clef Behind and other exciting performance groups! This is a free and non-ticketed event with general admission seating.leaf2
