The Department of Student Activities welcomes you back to Brandeis and invites you to join us for a variety of great events and activities during the first week of classes of the fall semester.


Monday, September 4

SUPER BINGO
7 p.m., Shapiro Campus Center Great Lawn (Rain Location: Shapiro Campus Center Atrium)

Screen on the Green: Wonder Woman
8 p.m., Shapiro Campus Center Great Lawn (Rain Location: Levin Ballroom, Usdan)
Bring your friends and a blanket to enjoy this FREE screening of this Wonder Woman (2017)! Free snacks, including popcorn, will be provided.

The 13th Annual 24-Hour Musical
8 p.m., Shapiro Campus Center Theater (Additional Seating in Shapiro Campus Center Atrium)
Come see fellow students put on an entire musical in just 24 hours! This once per year production is a show you won’t want to miss. Get your free ticket on the patio by The Great Lawn at 1 pm. Tickets go quickly, so come early! Overflow seating in the SCC Atrium. Sponsored by the Undergraduate Theater Collective.

Saturday, September 16

CollegeFest
11 a.m.–6 p.m., Fenway Park
Featuring live music, celebrity appearances and free swag from more than 100 local and national sponsors, CollegeFest attracts thousands of college students each year, making it the most heavily attended back-to-school event in New England! Best of all, CollegeFest is free! You can also pre-register for special perks and VIP access. Take the MBTA Green Line  from Riverside Station to Fenway Station or provide your own transportation. Sponsored by CollegeFest@Fenway.

Bubble Soccer
6 p.m.–11 p.m., Stein Diamond (Baseball Field)
Student Activities and Intramural Sports present Bubble Soccer–a cross between zorbing and soccer. Play with your friends or against them! All are welcome and no experience required! Open league, 5 vs 5, 10-minute games; single elimination tournament. Advance registration is required--available in August!

HoneyPotApple Picking at Honey Pot Hill
1 p.m.–5 p.m., Bus leaves from T-Lot
This is your chance to check Apple Picking off your Brandeis bucket list! Take a ride out to Honey Pot Hill Orchard and pick the freshest apples you can find. Visit the farm store to buy cider donuts, caramel apples, and freshly baked pies. Hayrides are also available. Get your $5 ticket at Brandeis Tickets in the Shapiro Campus Center Atrium! The ticket includes round-trip transportation and nearly three hours to explore the orchard and farm store; the price of apples is not included. Trip to Salem
1 p.m.–6 p.m., Bus leaves from T-Lot
Take a bus to Salem and experience the Haunted Happenings of this historic town. Salem is known for the infamous Witchcraft Trials of 1692, but also has a rich maritime history. A vibrant, pedestrian-friendly city where its residents and tourists can easily visit historic architecture, Salem offers unique attractions, world-famous museums, and an eclectic mix of shops and dining options.
