Monday, May 13 

Mighty Squirrel Brewery
411 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham
1 p.m.–4 p.m.

Done with finals? Head to Mighty Squirrel Brewery to relax and spend time with friends before the start of senior week. Snacks and drinks available for purchase. Limited tickets available.

We will be providing shuttles from campus to Mighty Squirrel. Shuttles will be running regularly from 1 p.m.–4 p.m. with pick ups happening every 15 minutes. Vans will wait one minute at each location before continuing on to next stop. Look for the Senior Week logo on the window of the vans!

The shuttle route is listed below:

  1. Charles River (Bus Stop)
  2. T-Lot (By gate to residence halls)
  3. Mods Crosswalk (South Street)
  4. Mighty Squirrel

Be sure to pick up your free ticket at the Shapiro Campus Center Box Office through Monday, May 13 by noon.  

Senior Toast
Light of Reason Statue (Rain Location: Sherman Function Hall)
5:30 p.m.–7 p.m.  

All members of the Class of 2019 are invited to The Senior Toast, at 5:30 Monday evening, May 13. It's a celebratory event to kick-off Senior Week and mark the beginning of your transition to becoming Brandeis alumni!  Light hors d'oeuvres will be served beneath the Light of Reason, with a champagne toast promptly at 6:15 (kosher and non-alcoholic options also available). The first 200 Seniors to RSVP will receive their own custom-made Class of 2019 champagne flute! Kindly RSVP here, spread the word, come in casual dressy attire and we'll see you at the Senior Toast!

 

Tuesday, May 14 

Wristbanding & Cap Decorating
Shapiro Campus Center Atrium
10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Bring your purchased Senior Week pass and Brandeis ID to the SCC Atrium to get a wristband for the week! There will also be a station to decorate your caps for the big day.

Class of 2019 Faculty/Staff Appreciation and Teaching Awards Reception
International Lounge
2 p.m.–3:30 p.m.

Each year at this Senior Week event we celebrate the faculty and staff who have made apositive difference in your lives during your time at Brandeis University. This is anopportunity for you to thank those who have assisted, mentored, and supported you throughout your college journey.  Please share the names of faculty and staff that you would like to invite to this event. We will then extend the invitation for you, also informing the faculty and staff that it was you who invited them. RSVP using this link.

The Aquarium!
New England Aquarium, Boston, MA

Buses leave Brandeis at 7:30 p.m., buses leave Aquarium at Midnight

The New England Aquarium is a Boston staple, and you’re getting it all to yourselves! Enjoy a night of dancing, while learning about marine wildlife. Food will be provided, and there will be a cash bar. Bring Brandeis and state ID.

13th Annual Senior Week Kickball Tournament
Gosman Athletic Fields, $10 per team
1 p.m.–7 p.m.

Senior Week and the Department of Athletics present the Thirteenth Annual Senior Intramural Kickball Tournament – check out imleagues.com/brandeis for more information and to register your team of seniors! (Start and end times for Kickball may be adjusted slightly depending on the number of teams that sign-up and the start time of evening events. In the case of rain, games will continue through Friday). If you have any questions about kickball or need help finding a team, email jmizraji@brandeis.edu.

Food Truck Festival
Gosman Parking Lot (Rain Location: Shapiro Campus Center Atrium)
1 p.m.–4 p.m.

Stop by the kickball field to enjoy free foods and sweets, and having a great time enjoying the kickball tournament with friends! Several food trucks will be parked near Gosman to provide Middle Eastern cuisine, cookies and ice-cream sandwiches. There will also be student bands presenting their great music during the festival!

Trivia with Hiatt Career Center
Levin Ballroom

Team up with friends and join us for some amazing competition at this year’s Trivia night! Compete to win some great prizes! The team winning the first place will get a VIP experience with Boston Boat Cruise, including a free Uber Black trip. Sponsored by the Hiatt Career Center.

Enjoy the cool seabreeze with all the friends you made here at Brandeis on the beautiful Boston Harbor. There is a snack bar and cash bar on board. Bring Brandeis ID and state ID.

Senior Sacred Conversations
Shapiro Campus Center Dharmic Prayer Space (3rd Floor)

1 p.m.–2 p.m.

Soon-to-be graduates, join us to process your upcoming transition away from Brandeis! The Sacred Conversation series is facilitated by the University Chaplains and is a heart-centered space to talk about "what really matters."

President’s Reception
Shapiro Campus Center Atrium
4 p.m.–6 p.m.

You and your families and friends are invited to this reception hosted by the President and the Board of Trustees.  Please come in casual dressy attire.

Night in Technicolor 
Levin Ballroom, Usdan Student Center
9 p.m.– Midnight, Single Ticket Price: $20

Dance the night away with the rest of the senior class as we turn Levin Ballroom into a kaleidoscope of colors.  This event will definitely be the highlight of your week. Bright colors and neon dress highly encouraged. Food and drink will be provided. Brandeis ID and state ID required to drink. 

 

Saturday, May 18

Baccalaureate Celebration
Shapiro Campus Center Theater

Join us for a centering time of reflection in the midst of a busy Senior Week! Brandeis's annual Baccalaureate service is a celebration of personal and spiritual journeys at Brandeis. Graduating students of many different backgrounds will share their stories of personal transformation through stories and music in a ceremony presided over by the University Chaplains. All are welcome!
