Topics we will discuss include: personal & community safety; positive citizenship; partnership with the Waltham community; policy information; strategies for neighborhood living. It’s time to show the world how Deisian you are. Join us for College Colors Day and show off you school pride as we kick off Spirit Fridays at Brandeis. Wear your Brandeis blue and white and rise up! Stick around to take photos and share your pride with #CollegeColorsDay and #Brandeis. We’ll get information for a group photo and show the world how Brandeisian we all are.

Headphone Disco: Silent Noise at the Light of Reason

The Light of Reason becomes a silent disco as dueling DJs spin the tunes at our third annual headphone party! You pick and choose which DJ to dance to! No bags or drinks permitted; water will be provided. Sponsored by the Departments of Student Activities, Community Living, and Orientation.

Welcome Week: ‘Deis Hunt
3 p.m.-5 p.m., Fellows Garden
The Brandeis University campus becomes a giant scavenger hunt for this once-in-a-lifetime event! Join up with a group of other brand new students as you scour our campus answering riddles and challenges worth hundreds of points. Whether you find yourself at Charles River or at the Shapiro Science Center, this activity is sure to give you a glimpse at many of the important landmarks around campus, as well as providing the winning team with an opportunity to receive some really awesome rewards.

Meet at Charles River Canoe & Kayak for a fun day on the water in kayaks! Get your $5 ticket in advance at Brandeis Tickets. Limited space is available for special Bran Van shuttle service from campus but must be arranged at time of purchase. Carnival!

Monday, September 3: Labor Day (No classes)

Fun in the Sun!
Noon–4 p.m., Shapiro Campus Center Great Lawn
Campus Activities Board at Brandeis University presents Fun in the Sun! Hit up the Great Lawn for Tie Dye, a Slip n’ Slide, a Mechanical Surfboard and a three-story tall water slide. Celebrate the warm weather with free hot dogs, snacks, drinks, and snow cones. Free and open to the whole Brandeis community!
