Accessibility & Policies

Assisted Listening Devices

The Mainstage and Laurie theaters are equipped with assisted listening system; please see a member of the box office staff in the main lobby if you require a device.

Babes in Arms

For the enjoyment of all our patrons, we do not allow children under the age of five to attend performances. All patrons, regardless of age, must purchase a ticket.

Cameras and Recorders

The use of cameras, tape recorders and video recorders is illegal, and it is a threat to the safety of the performers. It is also very disruptive to your fellow theatergoers, so we ask that you refrain from using any and all recording devices.

Handicapped Accessible

Spingold Theater Center does not have an elevator for patrons. Handicapped parking spaces are available in the circle by the main lobby. Please advise Brandeis Tickets of any special seating requirements or other needs upon making your reservation.

Ticket Policies

There are no refunds. If you cannot use your tickets, please make them available to a friend or donate them by calling Brandeis Tickets no later than 24 hours in advance of the performance. You may exchange your tickets by phone or in person for another performance of the same production with at least 24 hours notice of the performance for which you have tickets; there is a $2 per ticket exchange fee.

Late Seating

Latecomers will be seated at an appropriate interval during the performance. In the Merrick and Laurie theaters, it may not be possible to seat you in your designated seats until intermission. Late seating is done at the discretion of the management.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building. Please limit smoking to the designated smoking area at the main entrance to the building.

There is a wheelchair available to assist patrons moving from the lobby to the Laurie Theater. The Spingold Theater Center staff is pleased to offer assistance to all patrons. If you have a specific need or question, please do not hesitate to ask.
