- My name is Ariel Brathwaite. I am a current junior at Brandeis University as well as a New York Posse scholar. I'm majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Fine Arts. And I also work in the Angela Gutchess' Aging, Culture and Cognition Lab. I currently am working, assisting Emma who is also on this video chat, with an, with analyzing COVID-19 infection and death rates as well as assisting a graduate student, perform interviews and data collection, focusing on empathy and culture. - Hi guys, I'm Emma. I'm a junior at Brandeis University, same as Ariel and we're currently working on the same project. So, I also work in the Gutchess lab. And so we're working on a project that analyzes COVID infection and death rates in correlation with tightness and looseness of state regulation. In the past, I've also worked with graduate students and have been helping them run their studies as well. - Hi, my name is Coco and I'm a junior majoring in history economics and international global studies. I'm also an international student from China. And my experience in my home country actually inspires me for my research about Russian influence on my hometown in North West, Northern China. Last summer, I conducted this oral history research project about it, and I interviewed several local people which is a pretty unique experience for me outside the U.S. - Hi folks, my name is Alejandra Bonilla. I am a Chicana born and raised in the Bay area, California. My Pronoun is she/her, and I'm currently a senior at Brandeis. I'm triple majoring in Anthropology, IGS, and Latin American Latino studies. And I'm currently researching Latina women and their experiences with housing instability in the United States. Because of COVID, it's all been done remotely. And um, in the past I've done research in Chile and hopefully we'll be looking into doing research with preposterous this semester.
