Due to the impact of COVID-19, no external events will be booked on campus until further notice.
Brandeis features two attractive all-occasion spaces that are available to the public: the Faculty Club and the Hassenfeld Conference Center.
Interested in hosting a bar/bat mitzvah service or wedding ceremony on campus? The three chapels are open to the public for religious ceremonies.
The Faculty Club
The Faculty Club is the university's most popular spot for social functions. This well-appointed private function space is situated just steps away from the Berlin Chapel. Located on top of a small hill, the Faculty Club offers multiple rooms in a unique function space.
The Faculty Club Lounge provides an intimate atmosphere for cocktails, with beautiful hardwood floors and a fireplace. The Lounge also opens onto a secluded outdoor area that provides both a beautiful view in the winter and a great patio space for guests to use during the spring and summer.
The Main Dining Room, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows on two walls, can accommodate up to 140 guests with a dance floor.
The Faculty Club does not have a kosher kitchen, although kosher meals can be provided for individual guests.
Hassenfeld Conference Center
The Hassenfeld Conference Center, located near the Berlin Chapel, is a semi-private facility that was renovated in 2019 and houses the Feldberg Lounge (used for cocktail receptions) and Sherman Hall (used for dining and entertainment).
Feldberg Lounge overlooks a garden area, creating a wonderful atmosphere for your guests.
Sherman Function Hall is a traditional-style ballroom that can accommodate up to 200 guests. Neutral colors and high ceilings give the room a spacious feel.
Hassenfeld is equipped with three full kitchens — kosher meat, kosher dairy and non-kosher.
