Keeping Brandeis Safe
The Department of Public Safety is responsible for the protection of life and property at Brandeis University.
Brandeis University is committed to providing a safe living and learning environment, including open and ongoing efforts to inform the campus about safety issues.
If and when an incident occurs, we will work tirelessly to secure the campus, investigate the event, take appropriate action and assist victims with any support needed.
The Office of Parking and Traffic registers, monitors and controls vehicles operated by Brandeis community members and their guests.
Medical Parking Accommodations/Accessible Van Transportation
On a limited basis for students in need, Brandeis offers Medical Parking Accommodations and/or access to the Accessible Transportation Van. This process is managed by Student Accessibility Support (SAS).
Requests are reviewed and decided upon by the Parking Accommodations Committee. The committee includes staff representatives from the Parking Office, Campus Public and Student Accessibility Support. When necessary, the committee may consult with staff from the Health Center and the Office of Equal Opportunity. The committee meets regularly throughout the semester to review requests.
It is recommended students begin the application process as soon as possible. A link to the application and additional information is provided below.
If you have any questions, you are encouraged to contact Student Accessibility Support.
