Michael Abrams ’04, of Burlington, Vt., a second-year law student who taught high school biology and environmental studies, died on Jan. 27. He leaves his father, Mark, and a sister, Nilima.

Mikhail Segal ’05, of Burlington, Mass., died on Jan. 2. He leaves his parents, Mark and Marina; and a
sister, Tatyana.

Alvin Hillman, M.S.E.’08, of Franklin, Mass., died on Jan. 30. He leaves his wife, Betty; two sons, William and Lance; and two daughters, Barbara and Andrea.

Nabila Khan ’08, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, died on July 2 from injuries suffered in a car accident in the city. The crash also claimed the lives of her husband, Iftekhar Anwar, and mother-in-law, Dil Nahar. Her father-in-law, Md. Abu Jafar, suffered serious injuries. Nabila and Iftekhar’s infant daughter, Norah Shabnam Anwar, was not injured. Nabila is survived by her father, Amanat Ullah Khan, a professor at Dhaka University in her native Bangladesh.
