In Memoriam: Alumni Classes of 1970-79

Paul Black, MA’71, of Cambridge, Mass., died on Jan. 14. Lawrence Kletter ’77, P’12, of Newton, Mass., an attorney, died suddenly on May 12. He was the legal adviser to Human Milk Banks of North America and an attorney at the Kletter Law Office. After graduating from Brandeis, he earned a master’s degree and JD from Columbia University. He leaves three daughters, Yael ’12, Shlomit and Sara; his sister, Bonnie; his brother, Steven; and his former wife, Esther Fine ’78. Fred Levine ’77, of Brookline, Mass., a former major-gifts officer in Harvard’s development office, died on March 6. He leaves three daughters, Yael, Maya and Orl; his brother, Rand; and his former wife, Elisa New ’80. Hannah Aroesty, MA’78, of Newton, Mass., died on April 2. 
She leaves two sons, Eli and Adam; and her daughter, Devorah. Leona Zarsky, Heller MMHS’78, of Newton and Falmouth, Mass., died on Feb. 2. She leaves two daughters, Barbara and Mimi; her son, Norman; and two grandchildren.
