Student Handbook
The GPS Student Handbook provides a comprehensive set of policies, procedures, academic regulations, rights and responsibilities, and resources for GPS students. New and continuing students should review it carefully. If you have questions or would like to request further information, please contact GPS staff.
Transcripts
Transcript requests are handled by the Office of the University Registrar at Brandeis. GPS is not able to provide students with transcripts. If you need a copy of your official transcript, request a copy via SAGE or complete the Registrar's form.
Grades
To view your grades, please log in to SAGE with your UNet username and password. Brandeis University and GPS do not mail grade reports. We are also unable to give out any grade information over the phone or by email.
Syllabi
Every GPS course has a syllabus that includes the official course description, course-level outcomes, course schedules, grading policies, assignments and weekly outcomes. Instructors update Syllabi each term to reflect the semester's particular course offering and schedule.
If you have registered for a course, you can view the syllabus approximately one week before the course is scheduled to begin.
If you are a returning student and wish to browse syllabi from previous terms:
If you are a new student and wish to review a course syllabus prior to enrolling, please contact us to request a copy.
Enrollment and Degree Verification
An enrollment and degree verification is proof of enrollment in a degree program or proof of graduation from a degree/certificate program. Students may request an enrollment verification for various reasons, usually to provide proof of student status to organizations such as health insurance agencies, banks, and computer software vendors.
Students may log in to sage with their Brandeis UNet ID to request verification from Brandeis or visit the National Student Clearinghouse Website via the Brandeis Registrar's Website: http://www.brandeis.edu/registrar/forms/enrl.html.
Textbooks
You can purchase texts at the Brandeis University Bookstore online or in person year-round. If you’d like, the bookstore will ship texts directly to you or hold them for pick-up.
