After serving as campaign and administration spokesman for Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick for the past two years, I was named executive director of the Deval Patrick Committee (DPC) and the TogetherPAC (TPAC), which will work to ensure the re-election of President Barack Obama.

Andrew Fruchter is head of business development at Shaker, an innovative startup company established by experienced entrepreneurs with expertise in the fields of gaming, graphic engines and online social interaction. He bumped into Mark Kantor, the co-founder of Graffiti, at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco (one of the country’s largest tech conferences). Rachel Beaulieu Goldsmith received a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is studying new therapeutics for African sleeping sickness. Andrew Davies co-founded the Bible Players theater group in an effort to make Torah learning more accessible and fun for children, with colorful costumes and modern takes on the timeless stories. The Bible Players perform at synagogues and Jewish day schools around the New York area. “I think that a lot of schools are frankly turning kids off from Jewish education and Jewish life,” Andrew told the Forward newspaper. Rachel Kaye received an M.D. on June 1, 2011, from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and began a residency in ear, nose and throat at Montefiore Hospital on July 1. Rachel and her husband, Michael, welcomed a baby girl, Emma Jade, on Oct. 12. They live in Riverdale, N.Y. Raphael “Raphi” Rosenblatt graduated from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government in May with a master’s degree in public policy. Prior to attending graduate school, Raphi spent three years teaching high school math in the Bronx with Teach for America. Raphi now lives in New York and works as the director of evaluation for Year Up, a national education and workforce development nonprofit. Joshua Goldfischer and Karen Travis were married on May 29, 2011, in East Meadow, N.Y. Five Brandeis classmates were in the wedding party.
