In Memoriam: Alumni Classes of 2010-12

Alexa Christakos ’11, of Lowell, Mass., was killed on Sept. 4, 2012, when the motorcycle she was riding on crashed in Stratham, N.H. She and the motorcycle driver, Michael Gazeaud, 36, of Raymond, N.H., were pronounced dead at the scene. “She squeezed more life in 23 years than I have in 38,” Eric Hansen, owner of Dark Tower Entertainment, the production company where Alexa worked, told The Boston Globe. “She never wasted a minute. She wanted to experience everything.” Alexa was a member of the Chargettes, the elite promo squad for the Tri-City Charge semiprofessional football team, which plays in Sandown, N.H. Leanne Cryts, general manager for the Tri-City Charge and the Chargettes, described Alexa as the “true epitome” of a Chargette. “She was a gorgeous, hard-working, strong-willed and admirable woman,” Cryts said. “Alexa was a beloved addition to the Tri-City family. She was beautiful inside and out.” Alexa leaves her mother, Constance, and her grandparents, Robert and Irene.
