James Conlon, a conductor for more than 30 years and currently the music director of the Los Angeles Opera, believes there are hundreds of compositions written by 20th century composers that were “lost” during the Nazi regime. He has made it his mission to recover the music and recently delivered a campus lecture about the project.
BrandeisNOW spoke with Conlon for a deeper understanding of “Recovered Voices.”
