IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Holiday Celebration Survey
Vote by Friday, Sept. 20

The Office of Human Resources would like your opinion–please vote.

A few years ago, Brandeis began the tradition of a holiday celebration for all faculty and staff, and your response and participation has been wonderful. We look forward to continuing the tradition, and would like to have the arrangements enable as many of you to participate as possible.

We have done this in two different configurations in the past years–the Holiday dinner in Levin from 5-7 p.m., and the Holiday party (prizes & raffles) in Levin from 2-4 p.m. We would love to know your preference as we schedule this year and future years. Please complete this survey, your vote will be anonymous. That's all you need to do to participate, and we appreciate your taking time to respond.

Vacation Carry-over

With the end of the calendar year approaching, it is a perfect time for employees to review their vacation balances. The University vacation policy limits balances that employees are allowed to carry-over to the next calendar year. On January 1, 2020, employees who have balances that exceed the carry-over limit will have their balances reduced. Please plan ahead and use your accrued time to avoid losing any vacation time. As always supervisors approval is required before vacation leave can be taken. Please visit the Human Resources Website to view the paid time off policy.
