Inspired by minimalist sculpture of the 1970s and supported by public art grants, associate professor of sculpture Tory Fair’s piece Portable Window this summer made the rounds of various Massachusetts locales — including Spy Pond, in Arlington — encouraging people to view familiar vistas in fresh, new ways.
