Building Peace
In 2003, Al-Quds University and Brandeis University formed a unique intercultural partnership, linking an Arab institution in Jerusalem and a Jewish-sponsored institution in the United States in an exchange designed to foster cultural understanding and provide educational opportunities for students, faculty and staff.
Exchanges
Two-way exchanges are at the heart of the partnership. This May, a delegation of Brandeis students and staff are visiting Al-Quds University to continue work with their peers on "what is a good society?" -- part of partnership Academic Exchanges. Meanwhile, Administrative Exchanges are designed to build higher education capacity in the areas of administration and finance, effective teaching, communications, and continuing education.
Conference on women and leadership concludes
Over 100 participants joined Al-Quds University and Brandeis University faculty for the May 3rd academic conference on "Women, Leadership, State, and Society." More information on the conference discussion will be coming soon.
