Gary Cohen is CEO of Qualitor, a diversified supplier of aftermarket safety and wear parts for the automotive industry. Formerly, he was president and CEO of Timex Group, which includes the brands Timex, Guess, Ferragamo, Versace and Nautica. Dana Goldman, an attorney in Shutts & Bowen’s Miami office, was elected a commissioner in Sunny Isles Beach, Fla. She recently served as chair of the city’s Citizens Advisory Committee, where she was involved in various initiatives, including those related to social media and electronic signage, and the Condominium Workshop Series. Lance Kawesch, managing partner of Kawesch Law Group, received the Sponsor Award from the American Technion Society in recognition of his support of the organization. Matt Malsky was named associate provost and dean of the college at Clark University. He has been a professor in Clark’s music program for 21 years, and his compositions have been performed throughout the world. Sally Michael-Pomerantz, a partner in the real-estate practice of Saul Ewing in Boston, joined the board of trustees of the Boston Home, a residence and center for the care of adults with advanced multiple sclerosis or other progressive neurological diseases. She had served on the home’s ethics committee for 10 years.
