| IN OTHER NEWS | Update on Course Video Request Process | Interested in using films for your fall or future courses? Please read below for important information regarding changes made to the Course Videos program.
With the transition from Ensemble to Kaltura, a new video hosting platform, we have implemented changes to the video request process. Because the videos will now be hosted on a new server, you will need to re-request all videos that you had previously requested via the LATTE Videos Block as it will no longer be available.
Starting summer 2022, you will need to place Course Video requests using the new “Request a Course Video'' link found in the Course Tools section of your course LATTE page. Instructions and further information can be found on the Course Videos Library page.
Be assured that videos used in courses in the past will still be available to show to your course, but the LATTE video block will no longer be available. Links to films will now be found in a Page Activity titled “Course Videos” in the top block of your LATTE page.
Don’t forget to browse the Library’s film streaming services, Kanopy, Academic Video Online, Swank, and Docuseek2, for films related to your class.
Please reach out to reserve@brandeis.edu with questions. |

Take some time to think about how you manage your files—both paper and electronic. Visit URM’s website to learn more about our services and your role in supporting the documentation of university history and legal and contractual requirements. | Fall 2022 Bills Past Due | Fall 2022 bills were released to students and families via the Nelnet Student Account Portal in early July. Bills were due on August 5, 2022. Registration holds have been placed on past due account balances and late fees will be applied soon.
Students can access their billing details by clicking the Nelnet Student Account Portal link found within the Student Account worklet in Workday. Students who have never accessed the Nelnet Student Account Portal before will need to set up their student profile (refer to the Nelnet - Account Access job aid for detailed instructions) before they can view the bill.
In order for parents, guardians, sponsors, or another party to receive the student's tuition bill, view the student account, and make payments, the student must add them as Authorized Parties in Nelnet. Once they are set up as an Authorized Party, parents/guardians can access Nelnet directly with their own usernames and passwords; they cannot use the student's log-in credentials to access the portal. |
