Visions of an Ancient Dreamer,” a pairing of “Orestes” and “Iphigenia and Tauris,” is the culmination of a yearlong collaboration between theater arts and classical studies. Students translated texts, trained in Indian narrative dance with the Navarasa Dance Theater and are now performing it in the Mainstage Theater of the Spingold Theater Center as part of the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts.

Directed by Eric Hill and with movement by Aparna Sindhoor and Anil Natyaveda, performances will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., with 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $20 for the general public, $15 for the Brandeis community and seniors and $5 for students. They can be purchased at Brandeis Tickets or by calling (781) 736-3400.
