List of academic prizes and honors won by Brandeis’ Nobel Laureates, Michael Rosbash and Jeffrey Hall

Brandeis biology professors Michael Rosbash and Jeffrey Hall, with Rockefeller University professor Michael Young, were named winners of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 for their work on circadian rhythms – adding to an already sterling catalogue of scientific awards and achievements for both scholars.

At Brandeis, Rosbash holds the titles of Peter Gruber Endowed Chair in Neuroscience, Professor of Biology and Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator, while Hall is Professor Emeritus of Biology.
