Off-campus incident

Message to Brandeis community, sent Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018

Early this morning, two Brandeis students walking off campus were approached by a passing car. After a brief verbal interaction, the driver pulled what appeared to be weapon on the students, who were not injured and who immediately reported the incident to the Brandeis University Police Department. Waltham PD was notified and an arrest was promptly made. Both Brandeis students are safe and back on campus.  There is no larger threat or reason for concern.
