| IN THE SPOTLIGHT | Summer Flex Hours | June 8-Aug. 14 | Human Resources is pleased to announce the continuation of a flexible schedule option this summer for staff, starting Monday, June 8, and continuing through Friday, August 14.
Managers may adopt flexible hours for staff, where possible. Because our campus offers programs and classes throughout the summer, flex time can be approved by managers only as long as each department’s or unit’s work commitments are fully met, and departments and units are able to provide service five days a week. Whether a staff member may adopt a flex schedule is subject to the approval of that person’s supervisor. |
| edHealth Walking Challenge is Back | June 8-July 4 | The intercollegiate edHealth Walking Challenge is back. Brandeis, edHEALTH and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care are proud to invite you to take part in the third annual walking Challenge for all employees. While Harvard Pilgrim is hosting the Walking Challenge for all employees, this does not affect your medical health plan coverage and you are eligible regardless of your health insurance carrier.
Employees can compete individually or as a team. Each member of a team tracks their steps individually, but team members can walk together to help each other boost their step count. Everyone who meets the weekly step challenge of an average of 5000 steps per day will be entered into a raffle to win great prizes each week.
For more information and to get started please visit the Office of Human Resources website. |

Also, if you missed the May 14 webinar, you can view the recording and presentation on the ITS website. As a reminder, please report any suspicious emails to phishing@brandeis.edu. |

| Institutional Advancement CRM: Vendor Demonstrations Update | Institutional Advancement and ITS have continued to host demonstration meetings with the three vendors selected to replace the Millennium system that supports the Advancement community at Brandeis. The virtual sessions with Affinaquest, thankQ, and UC Innovation have addressed a variety of topics including fundraising, communications and events, constituent records management, and gift administration. The vendors will be wrapping up presentations in early June. Institutional Advancement, members of the Alumni Association, central ITS, and other campus partners will then review final scoring documents and make a recommendation to the project sponsors the following week.
