Clean and Green: Business, Policy or Slogan?

Thursday, April 29
Brandeis International Business School
Panel: 3:30 to 5 p.m., Lee Lecture Hall
Reception: 5 p.m., World Court

What are the financial, business, and economic policy underpinnings of clean technology? Will these new technologies and businesses be green in more ways than one?  What is the relative importance of the regulatory-policy environment, the technological frontier, and the availability of financial capital for clean innovation and profitable business outcomes? What about the international dimension of demand for green technologies, and of competition for sourcing, workers, and capital? This symposium, organized by the Rosenberg Institute of Global Finance, will address these issues in a moderated panel discussion moderated by John Ballantine and Warren Leon, followed by audience question and answer session and reception.
