Irving Roth, Holocaust survivor, to speak

Irving Roth, a Holocaust survivor and the Director of the Holocaust Resource Center at the Temple Judea of Manhasset, New York, will be speaking at Brandeis on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 5:00 p.m. in Rapaporte Treasure Hall. He will talk about working to eradicate anti-Semitism in the world and create an environment where peace and coexistence can prosper.

Roth endeavors to convey the lessons that can be learned from his experience in the death camps in Poland and actively works to ensure sure that such an atrocity as the Holocaust never happens again. For this , he has received the Spirit of Ann Frank Award and numerous other honors. Today he is one of the most sought-after Holocaust educators throughout Europe, Israel, and America.

The event is sponsored by the Brandeis Israel Public Affairs Committee, and is open to the public.
