The Brandeis community will celebrate the holidays with the annual campus sing-along of Handel’s masterwork “Messiah” on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 4 p.m.

Led by students from the Brandeis-Wellesley Orchestra conducted by Professor Neal Hampton and the Brandeis University Chorus under the direction of Professor James Olesen, the one-hour concert will be held in the Shapiro Campus Center Atrium. The faculty and staff soloists are Nancy Armstrong and Mark Kagan. Yoni Battat’13 will conduct the “Hallelujah Chorus.”

Scores will be available if you want to sing -- or you can just enjoy the music and community gathering. The Catholic Student Organization will provide eggnog and kosher Christmas cookies.

Students from the Waltham Group, Brandeis’s community service organization, will collect donations for Cradles to Crayons to support the education and academic interests of local children. Please bring along notebooks, pencils, pens, backpacks, gently-used children's books, or other related supplies to donate to area families.
