Brandeis forms provost search committee

Brandeis University is poised to begin its search for the next provost and senior vice president for academic affairs.

University President Fred Lawrence announced Wednesday that a 12-member search committee has formed to help identify candidates for the position. It is comprised of six faculty members, three staff members, a trustee, a graduate student and an undergraduate student.

The executive search firm of Storbeck/Pimentel, which specializes in searches for universities, and previously assisted in the university’s presidential search, will guide the process.
