Parking changes made for career fair

A number of one-day traffic and parking changes will be in effect Thursday, March 10, when the Hiatt Career Center and the Office of Career Services at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management co-sponsor "Spring 2011 Career Fair: Jobs and Internships with a Social Impact."

The event will take place in Hassenfeld Conference Center from noon to 3 p.m. Hundreds of students and staff members will be joined by representatives from 50 employers representing a wide array of career fields. This is the university's second-largest employer recruiting event of the year and over 400 undergraduate and graduate students from all schools and departments are expected to attend. Accordingly, there will be additional vehicular and pedestrian traffic on campus.

These parking changes will be in effect:

Employers attending the fair will be directed to reserved parking spaces within H lot, Spingold Loop, Rose Museum Loop and J lot. Parking monitors will be on duty to assist the visitors and to direct Brandeis community members to alternate parking areas should they be displaced.

Any questions or concerns relating to this matter should be directed to the attention of Director of Public Safety Edward Callahan at extension 6-4240 or by email to ecallaha@brandeis.edu
