Guster to headline fall concert Sept. 24

Presale student tickets available until Sept. 16

Indie rock band Guster will headline this year’s Student Events fall concert on Sept. 24.

Guster formed in 1991, when its three founding members met as Tufts University freshmen. The band broke into the mainstream with its third album “Lost and Gone Forever,” which was released in 1999. Guster released its sixth studio album, “Easy Wonderful,” last year.

The band is also known for its activism. Guitarist and vocalist Adam Gardner and his wife founded Reverb in 2004, an organization dedicated to assisting touring artists by making activities more environmentally sound and raising environmental awareness.

The show will take place in Gosman at 8 p.m. Student presale tickets are available at Brandeis Tickets for $10 until Sept. 16. After that, student tickets are $15 and all others are $20.
