Student Union raising money to assist Hurricane Sandy victims

To help victims  of the devastating hurricane that struck the Caribbean, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast in October, the Student Union is selling red rubber bracelets with "Sandy" written in white for $5.

The bracelets will be on sale in lower Usdan from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and in the atrium of the Shapiro Campus Center from noon to 2 p.m. beginning Thursday, Nov. 29, and ending Friday, Dec. 7.

The goal is to raise $1,500.

Members of the community who are unable to go to these tabling times may contact the Class of 2013 Senator, Sarah G. Kim.

Progress toward the goal will be tracked on the brick wall in between lower and upper Usdan. All funds will be donated to the American Red Cross.
