• Katherine Mason: assistant professor of anthropology at Brown University and author of “Infectious Change: Reinventing Chinese Public Health after an Epidemic.”
• Jennifer Bouey: the Tang Chair of Chinese Policy at RAND Corp.
• Deborah Seligsohn: assistant professor of political science at Villanova University and the former Environment, Science, Technology and Health Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China.

The discussion was moderated by Brandeis Professor Allyala Krishna Nandakumar, the director of the Institute for Global Health and Development.
