Brandeis is as serious about athletics as it is about academics.

It fields 19 Division III varsity programs and competes in the University Athletic Association, providing athletes with a chance to prove themselves against the best Division III has to offer.

Since 2010, nine Judges teams have earned national rankings, and Brandeis has produced 29 All-American athletes in the past five years alone. This past fall, the men’s and women’s soccer teams both advanced to the Final Four, and the men’s volleyball club competed at the national championships.

Students are encouraged to get involved with our club and intramural teams. Brandeis students compete for fun in everything, from inner-tube water polo and bubble soccer to the fictional game of Quidditch. All students benefit from having access to the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center, which houses state-of-the-art exercise equipment, along with squash courts, a lap pool, an indoor and outdoor track and basketball courts.
