60th Reunion
May 31-June 2, 2019

Helen Meyerhoff lives in suburban Chicago. She and her husband, Jim, stay busy with nearby family and volunteer work. Social justice activist Letty Cottin Pogrebin and husband Bert, a labor and employment lawyer, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in December. They have three children — daughters Robin and Abigail, both writers, and a son, David, who is in restaurant management — and six grandchildren, ages 16 to 22. Letty is working on her 12th book, “Shanda: Family Secrets, Personal Shame, Public Disgrace and the Fear of Being Found Out.” Albert Zabin and his wife, Judy ’61, regret they won’t be able to attend this year’s reunion. That weekend, they will celebrate the bar mitzvahs of their twin grandchildren, who live in Northfield, Minnesota. They report they have a new dog, who accompanied Albert last year when he canvassed voters in behalf of the Democratic challenger who ultimately won the election in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. Albert works as a pro bono lawyer at Greater Boston Legal Services. Judy maintains a psychotherapy practice; is involved in local politics in Lexington, Massachusetts; studies Shakespeare at the Brandeis BOLLI program; and is an all-around “super-grandma” to nine grandkids.
