After nearly six years with the government authority responsible for transport in New South Wales, Australia, Alastair Bor is chief technology officer at Ecofibre, an industrial hemp company based in Australia that has a large presence in Kentucky. Alastair reports there are not many Brandeis alumni in Sydney and hopes to run into a few more in Kentucky. Stacy Borans is founder and chief medical officer of Advanced Medical Strategies, a health-care payer services company. In December, she met with the White House National Economic Council and the staff for Sen. Chuck Grassley, the Senate Finance Committee chair, to discuss provider network dynamics and potential pricing benchmarks. Stacy celebrated her 50th birthday with family and friends in Bali, Indonesia. Scott Gladstone, P’23, reports his son Joshua ’23 was accepted to Brandeis as an Early Decision applicant. In   addition to his father, Joshua follows in the footsteps of his grandfather, Jerrold Goodman ’63, P’90, G’23. Scott’s daughter, Sarah, competes on the Wellesley College swim team, and son Benjamin, who is conducting research in Israel on a Fulbright Scholarship, in the fall will begin a PhD program in Hebrew and Judaic studies, and Israel studies at New York University. Jennifer Gorman is serving as assistant rabbi at Toronto’s Beth Tzedec Congregation during its rabbinic transition, the first woman to serve in this capacity at the synagogue. She is also executive director at MERCAZ-Canada and Canadian Foundation for Masorti Judaism. Wendy Samuelson is the managing partner of the boutique matrimonial and family law firm Samuelson Hause & Samuelson. Her practice focuses on counseling high-net-worth clients during the resolution of divorce or child-custody matters. Wendy and her husband, Jeff, enjoy tandem cycling. In June, they tandem mountain biked in Crested Butte, Colorado, during wildflower season. This year, they plan to cycle through the hills of Tuscany, Italy.

THE BAR MITZVAH CREW: Rachel Kaylie, Rabbi Renee (Goldberg) Edelman, Jolene Risch, Hillary Kessler-Godin, Wendy Samuelson and Amy (Katz) Wisnudel, all ’90, joined forces to celebrate the b’nai mitzvah of Edelman’s twins, Sophie and Jackson, reprising the reunion that also happened at Kaylie’s, Kessler-Godin’s and Wisnudel’s children’s bar mitzvahs.
