Saldi’s, hands down. Beer, pizza and camaraderie of town and gown.

Best memories
The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “Justice Without Violence” speech in 1957 and the dispute over the airing of the controversial movie “Birth of a Nation.”

Brandeisian who most influenced your life
Professor Max Lerner. I spent my senior year driving him back and forth to and from Logan Airport each week. We talked all the way. He convinced me to attend law school instead of graduate school.

How do you stay connected to Brandeis today?
I support and am involved with Posse, the Transitional Year Program, and the Louis D. Brandeis Legacy Fund for Social Justice.
