Thesis requirement will not be considered fulfilled without a filed Certification Form and an electronically deposited thesis to the University Repository by the specified deadline.
Master's Thesis Completion Timeline
Step 1: Apply to Graduate
Complete the Apply to Graduate form available here and submit it to the Registrar, Kutz Hall by:
- Wednesday, June 15, 2011 for August 2011 graduation
- Tuesday, November 1, 2011 for February 2012 graduation
- Thursday, March 1, 2012 for May 2012 graduation
Step 2: Submit Certification of Master’s Thesis Acceptance
Complete this form and submit it to GSAS (Kutz Hall, 2nd floor) no later than one day before your thesis submission deadline (see below). For May 2012 completion, the certification deadline is Friday, April 27, 2012.
Step 3: Submit Your Thesis Electronically
Follow the formatting guidelines for preparing your thesis for electronic submission. Submit your thesis to the Brandeis Institutional Repository once approved and accepted by your thesis advisor by:
- Monday, August 15, 2011 for August 2011 graduation
- Tuesday, January 17, 2012 for February 2012 graduation
- Monday, April 30, 2012 for May 2012 graduation
