The Graduate Workshop series is designed to provide you with the academic and professional skills you need to excel inside and outside the classroom. Each session will be facilitated by experts from the faculty, staff, or outside professional world. Refreshments will be served at many events. Please register in advance.

Academic Development
Dissertation/Thesis Submission Workshops
Dissertation Submission: Monday, March 11, 2-2:50 p.m. Register by March 6 by sending an e-mail with your name and program.
Master's Thesis Submission: Tuesday, March 19, 10-10:50 a.m. Register by March 13 by sending an e-mail with your name and program.
Both workshops will be held in Kutz Hall, Room 132.
Review the main administrative procedures you must follow for the timely submission of your master's thesis or dissertation. Go over upcoming dates; cover typical formatting pitfalls; and receive important commencement information. Come with questions and leave with answers.

Come hear two Brandeis faculty members talk about their recent experiences with job talks and campus visits. Dave Sherman, Assistant Professor of English, and Ann E. Lucas, the ACLS New Faculty Fellow in Music and Anthropology, will give a brief overview of job talks and campus visits, giving prospective candidates and current graduate students tips on how to prepare for this component of the job search.
