Class Correspondent

I teach American literature at Penn State DuBois, where I was recently named Distinguished Professor of English. I have spoken recently in Russia, Poland, Spain and Japan on Edgar Allan Poe and Nathaniel Hawthorne.

President Barack Obama nominated Linda Rosenstock, a recognized authority on occupational and environmental health, public health and science policy, to serve as a member of his Advisory Group on Prevention, Health Promotion and Integrative and Public Health. Linda serves as dean of the School of Public Health and a professor of medicine and environmental health sciences at University of California, Los Angeles.

Daniel Lasker, M.A.’71, Ph.D.’76, is the Corcoran Visiting Chair of Christian-Jewish Relations at Boston College. He is on sabbatical from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he is professor of Jewish thought. He and his wife, Debora Dworkin Lasker ’73, have lived in Beer Sheva for 32 years and have five children and 11 grandchildren.

Sally Broff is retired and has volunteered as a business consultant with Score in San Diego since 2007. She serves as chapter secretary.
