When Tackey Chan joined the Massachusetts House of Representatives in January, the newly elected state representative from his native Quincy became one of the first two Asian-Americans ever to be elected in the House’s long history. Before running for state office, Tackey, who speaks Cantonese, his family’s Chinese dialect, worked in ratepayer advocacy as an assistant attorney general for three years. He also served as counsel and legislative director for state senator Michael Morrissey of Quincy for more than a dozen years.
David Rosenthal and his wife, Cara, had a baby girl, Sara Kaila, on March 29, 2009.
Michael Levison left Day Pitney to join Pryor Cashman’s bankruptcy, reorganization and creditors’ rights group in New York as a partner.
