Roy Dawes

William Roy Dawes joined the Rose staff in 2002. He co-curated the acclaimed 2009 exhibition "The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis: Works from the Collection" and curated "Numbers, Color and Text." Previously, he was the Gallery Manager at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston.
As an artist, Roy has exhibited his work throughout New England, including the DeCordova Museum, Whitney Art Works, and the Howard Yezerski Gallery.
He has degrees in fine arts from Mass College of Art and University of Massachusetts (Dartmouth). His work is held in many private and corporate collections and can be seen at www.roydawes.com.

Kristin Parker

Before joining the Rose staff in 2010, Kristin Parker worked at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston for 12 years, where she held several roles, including archivist and collections manager and manager of the contemporary art and public programs department.
Kristin is founder of the New England Museum Archivists Working Group and former secretary of the Society of American Archivists Museum Section, and has consulted and lectured on historical collections throughout the United States. New media art and technology is an ongoing interest, and Kristin has curated several exhibitions within virtual world platforms.
Kristin has a B.A. in Anthropology and Art History and a M.S. in Archives Management.

Dabney Hailey

Dabney Hailey joined the Rose in 2010. She previously spent eight years as Curator of Painting, Sculpture, and Photographs at the Davis Museum and Cultural Center, Wellesley College, where she was responsible for reinstalling the permanent-collection galleries as well as curating exhibitions of contemporary photography.
Prior to her time at Wellesley, she was Assistant Curator at the Block Museum of Art, Northwestern University. Hailey is also active in the field of museum education with a focus on gallery interpretation that supports undergraduate student audiences.
She holds a B.A. and M.A. in art history.
