Can it really be 45 years since we all wandered onto campus, nervous, excited and at the very beginning of our Brandeis adventure? I have managed to have several careers in the four and a half decades since, including in theater, movies, rock-and-roll, marketing, broadcasting and now as director at the South Hills branch of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh. In the immortal words of the Grateful Dead, “What a long, strange trip it’s been.” I’m looking forward to reading more about your own journeys in these pages.

Barry Taylor practices naturopathic medicine at the New England Family Health Center in Weston, Mass. He uses complementary and alternative medical treatments to help patients with various chronic conditions.
