The Exceptional Achievement in the Creative Arts programs, awards and recognition luncheon were originated, introduced and endowed in perpetuity by Herbert J. Fisher to honor, with much love, his Exceptional wife Sandra (1956).

The Exceptional Achievement Endowment in Creative Arts is the exclusive annual sponsor of these programs which seek to recognize, honor and reward those students whose creative skills, performance and scholarship are Exceptional.

Honorees are carefully selected by the distinguished faculties of the Music, Theater and Fine Arts departments.

Diplomas of Exceptional Achievement accompanied by a cash prize and are presented at an annual recognition luncheon reception. The highlights of this impressive event are the very engaging remarks and reflections of the students and mentors.

Additionally, the Exceptional Achievement Endowment in Creative Arts sponsors and supports “Explorer” Research Grants in Music, Theater and Fine Arts, as well as Fellowships in American Musicology and a Rose Museum internship.

The Fisher Family offers heartfelt congratulations to the honorees, and hope that the tides lead on to health, happiness, and success in all future ventures.
