Dear Mrs. Brandeis:

To you and your dear ones, this District expresses its grief. Last year, on November 13th, we sent a greeting to the Justice in poetry. Now, with his passing, may we send you, in revised form, our inadequate tribute to his greatness.

We have lost a noble leader.

With our deep sympathy,
Sincerely,
Lewis H. Weinstein
