The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
In the Year One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty-One.

Resolutions: On the Death of Louis Dembitz Brandeis, Late Justice of the Supreme Court of The United States.

Resolved, That the Massachusetts General Court joins in the tribute of affection and esteem paid by the nation to the memory of Louis Dembitz Brandeis, late Justice of the Supreme Court of The United States, who for more than sixty years was an outstanding authority in the law; and be it further

Resolved, That the Massachusetts General Court expresses to his bereaved family its sympathy in the great loss that has come to them; and be it further

Resolved, That these resolutions be spread upon the records of the Senate and the House of Representatives, and that an attested copy thereof be transmitted by the Clerk of the Senate to the family of Judge Brandeis.
