10th Reunion
June 7-9, 2013

Our class members are being blessed with first, second and even third babies, as others change jobs and get married. My wedding is fast approaching — September 2 — and I look forward to reuniting with Brandeis friends.

Michaela May and Ezra Klughaupt welcomed a baby girl, Maya Jean Klughaupt, on March 14. The family resides in Arlington, Mass. Annie Davidson and Aaron Parkhurst welcomed a baby girl, Tesla Noor Parkhurst, on Nov. 25, 2011, in London, where they reside. Pam Hoffman is finishing her residency and will be starting a fellowship in July for child and adolescent psychiatry at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Jackie Marcus is finishing her fellowship and will start a position as a neurologist at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco in the fall. Mohammad Zulfiquer Hossain writes in to let us know that his doctoral dissertation was published as a book, “beta-catenin, TCF, and ICAT in T cell development, function, and aging.” Janna Cohen-Rosenthal and Steve Laferriere ’05 welcomed a baby girl, Eden Cohen Laferriere, on March 16. They live in Boston. Emily Aronson and her husband, Riley Yates-Doerr, had their first child, Isaac Daniel, on Aug. 23, 2011. They live in Lambertville, N.J. Emily works in Princeton University’s Office of Communications. Actress Whitney Avalon (Cohen) has appeared on network television shows (“The Big Bang Theory,” “Happily Divorced” and “Perception”), and in major commercial campaigns and high-profile web series (“Ikea Heights” and “Gigabots”). On the stage, she has appeared in “Sesame Street Live,” “CarnEvil” and “Pope Joan.” Leslie Meltzer and her partner, Iris Peterson, welcomed a son, Joseph George Meltzer, on April 2, 2011. After eight-plus years in the San Francisco Bay Area, Leslie took a job as associate medical director at Biogen Idec in Weston, Mass.
