I am a history major with a minor in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. In my studies, I have focused on the history of central and Eastern Europe as well as trying out courses in theatre as part of the MERS minor. I want more students to engage with the MERS department considering the breadth of subjects covered by the minor with courses from History and English to Near Eastern and Judaic Studies. MERS is a minor compatible with many other majors and minors and offers students ample space for scheduling. As a UDR, I am happy to talk about prospective courses as well as cultural activities and experiences outside of the classroom to better understand the Medieval and Renaissance eras. If you want to talk courses or any other issues related to MERS, my email is always open, and I am more than happy to set up a meeting or phone call.
