This symposium is a unique opportunity to learn about central issues in the Middle East today. Drawing on the expertise of internationally renowned analysts and scholars from Brandeis, the region and around the world, this event will provide a deeper context for understanding recent developments in the region. Panel topics include: Arab-Israeli prospects for peace; the post-election situation in Iran; and regional issues involving Iraq, Jordan, and the Gulf states. Come for one session or stay for the whole day.
Primary Source promotes history and humanities education by connecting educators with people and cultures throughout the world.
Parking: Parking will be available at J Lot (CRR - Charles River Road lot off Angleside Road) near the train tracks. Shuttle bus service between the parking lot and upper campus will be available during the following times:
Lunch: Lunch will be available for purchase close to Rapaporte Hall at the Usdan cafeteria. Other lunch options include Sherman Hall cafeteria (kosher), Shapiro Student Center (Einstein Bros. Bagels), and the Faculty Club.
Please note, the open sessions will conclude at 2:15pm. The breakout sessions that follow are limited to Primary Source participants.
