Special Topics in Health and Medical Informatics

The field of Health and Medical Informatics is continually evolving. New health care research as well as legal, ethical, and regulatory habits and practices around the world are subject to rapid and potentially wide-reaching change. New technologies are continually introduced that may foster new technological capabilities. The Health and Medical Informatics Special Topics course facilitates the introduction of cutting-edge practices and technologies as they are introduced in the industry. Outcomes will vary by course, but in general terms, students will be able to:
