Recommended Classrooms
This chart shows
Rickes Associates' recommendations for the numbers and sizes of Brandeis
classrooms. They recommend development of more seminar rooms, and the
shift of classrooms from the 31-40 seat range (currently) to the 11-30 seat
range (recommended). Overall, the current number of classrooms is close to
the recommended number; two additional classrooms are required. Changes in
procedures for assigning classrooms would create additional flexibility and
could more than address the need for two additional classrooms. Overall,
design standards, quality, and locations of rooms need to be addressed.
